Escucha «I. Entusiasmo», el nuevo EP de Javiera Mena

En forma de adelanto de su próximo trabajo de larga duración, Javiera Mena estrenó I. Entusiasmo (2021), un EP de cinco canciones del que se desprenden tres canciones ya conocidas, «Flashback«, «Dos» y «Corazón Astral«, y dos nuevas, «Diva» y «Pasión A.K.A. Ilusión«.

Para este pequeño pero potente conjunto de canciones, lo enérgico del electropop y la esencia queer que tanto caracteriza a la chilena entra en vigor una vez más, pero dándole lugar a la melancolía en torno a las líricas.

Bien lo dice el nombre del EP, «todas las canciones de este trabajo están entrelazadas por los mismos sentimientos: Entusiasmo, pasión, el Eros, la ambición», comenta Javiera a través de un comunicado de prensa, donde además reconoce que I. Entusiasmo (2021) aborda y se insipira de distintas emociones y estados mentales, yendo desde la exitación y hasta el dolor en un hilo conductor de emociones.
