God Level Grand Slam: Regresa la internacional con nuevo formato 4vs4; México será la sede
Un año ha pasado desde la última God Level, aquella en formato 2vs2, que nos dejó desde momentos memorables, hasta algunos bochornosos e incómodos. Pero hey, de los errores de aprende, y es por eso que la organización anunció su próxima edición: God Level Grand Slam.
El formato es quizá el más complejo de toda la historia de la competición, porque no será en formato de llaves por eliminación, dándole un giro radical y un necesario respiro a God Level.
Como ya se había dicho hace tiempo, serán seis equipos, cada equipo se conformará de 3 hombres y una mujer, dándole un impulso al lado femenino dentro de la disciplina. El evento contará con seis fechas en total, donde en las primeras cinco se enfrentarán todos contra todos.
El sistema de puntuación es similar a las anteriores God Level:
- 1vs1 (Hombre o Mujer): 1.000pts
- 2vs2 (Hombre o Mixto): 1.500pts
- 3vs3 (Hombres o Mixto): 2.000pts
El equipo que gane ese enfrentamiento se le añadirá 1.000pts extras.
Los cuatro equipos con más puntos pasarán a la última fecha donde se enfrentarán de forma eliminatoria, semifinal y final.
También se adelantó que la sede para estas seis fechas será en México, pero se desconoce si será con público o a puerta cerrada. Muy posiblemente sea la segunda, pues nuestro país aún sigue a la alza en casos de COVID-19 y no creo prudente arriesgar al público, staff y el mismo talento que viene de otras latitudes.
Ahora, y lo más interesante, ¿quiénes podrían conformar los equipos? Aquí hay mucha especulación, pues recoger apenas cuatro freestylers de tantos países tan extensos y llenos de enormes referentes, así que acá te dejamos nuestras predicciones y quienes nos gustaría ver:
