Sal a carretera y pisa el acelerador con «Miami Driver», el nuevo tema de Tim Ayre

Hace poco el australiano Tim Ayre nos dejó ver el nuevo tema de su próximo EP, con una canción titulada Miami Driver, una canción cuya energía se centra en salir, poner tu playlist favorita, y disfrutar del viaje en la compañía de este peculiar single.

El tema y el sencillo recuerdan mucho a los 80’s, la forma de vestir, el coche en el que se viaja, y la manera en la cual se graba el video te hacen sentir parte de esa aventura, con un coro que te hace vibrar y sentir un viaje al pop psicodélico del cual no vas a querer salir.



Este tema no nos pudo evitar pensar en su anterior sencillo, Mexican Holiday, a pesar de que esta nueva canción sea menos ingenua, va trazando una línea de lo que será Modern Life (2021), el próximo EP que el australiano nos prepara.

«Con la reciente falta de viajes, estuve escribiendo canciones que me hicieran pensar en estar en algún otro lugar. ‘Miami Drive’ comenzó inicialmente con esa idea. Las cosas tomaron un giro extraño cuando Ollie (el director del video musical) y yo nos reunimos para averiguar cómo podíamos filmar un clip sobre Miami mientras estábamos atrapados en Australia. Finalmente encontramos una calle en la región de Victoria llamada Miami Drive, así que nos dirigimos hacia allá con la esperanza de filmar algunos fragmentos para el video; en lugar de palmeras y sol, nos encontramos con chiko rolls, de una manera divertida, mostramos una increíble faceta de la cultura australiana»
