La banda originaria de Los Ángeles, Warpaint, vuelve al estudio con un sencillo titulado ‘Champion’, canción que se encarga de ser el primer adelanto de su próximo disco de estudio titulado Radiant Like This (2022), álbum que será el sucesor de Heads Up (2016).
Las integrantes de la banda californiana, Emily Kokal, Theresa Wayman, Jenny Lee Lindberg y Stella Mozgawa hablaron al respecto y comentan que en general la canción: «Trata sobre ser un ‘campeón’ para uno mismo y para los demás. Estamos juntos en esto, la vida es demasiado corta para no pelear por la excelencia en todo lo que hacemos».
A la par de esta canción, Warpaint también ha anunciado el lanzamiento de Radiate Like This (2022), nuevo trabajo de estudio de larga duración. El álbum será presentado en vivo durante ese mismo mes en una gira por diferentes ciudades europeas. El tour empezará en el Reino Unido para luego extenderse a Alemania, Holanda, Bélgica y Polonia.
